Ensenada, Mexico
Rotary Club
September 2025

In September 2025, with the generous support of the Rotary Club, the Foundation led a team of nine volunteers to Ensenada, Mexico. There, we served the local community by providing free eye examinations, medications, and glasses to approximately 250 pediatric and adult patients.

For many individuals, this was their first eye exam. For some children, it was the first time they could see the classroom clearly. These are modest interventions by medical standards, but by life standards, they are transformative. A pair of glasses can change a student’s academic trajectory. Early detection can prevent permanent vision loss. This is preventive care at its most effective—practical, dignified, and immediate.

Looking ahead to 2026, the Suh Foundation is expanding its mission by deepening its investment in education and research—because the future of children’s eye care depends not only on today’s clinical work, but on cultivating tomorrow’s leaders.
